Played “hooky” and listened to this while working. I think my favorite episode so far! First, I could relate because I feel we’ve been there, secondly I believe its the biggest challenge the UMC and many churches have to face: how to repurpose old buildings in city centers and to remake them into something they weren’t intended to be; and even more important to serve a population that needs to be served (and Jesus asks up to serve specifically) and yet are still in early stages of learning how to serve.
